4. SMS Communications
We collect your phone number in two possible ways:
- Client-submitted quote requests — When you use a contractor's shareable request link to submit your own quote request (including a photo for AI-generated estimation), you may check an SMS consent checkbox at that time to opt in to text updates about your request.
- Contractor-generated quotes — When a contractor creates and sends you a quote directly (via Snap & Quote, Satellite Quote, or similar tools), you will receive that quote by email with a link to your client portal. If you accept the quote through that portal, you may check an SMS consent checkbox at that time to opt in to text updates about your job.
In both cases, checking the consent box means you agree to receive text messages from Ekewaka GENIE and/or the contractor servicing your request, including quote notifications, appointment reminders, arrival and completion updates, and related job communications.
SMS consent is entirely optional in both flows and is never required to receive service, request a quote, or work with a contractor through our platform. If you do not check the consent box, all communications will be delivered via email instead.
Message frequency varies based on your active jobs and quotes. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may reply HELP for assistance.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to facilitate communication about your specific quote or job with the contractor you are working with. For help, contact us at hello@ekewakagenie.com.
5. AI-Generated Content
Our Platform uses artificial intelligence, including Genie Vision AI, to analyze property photos and generate price estimates. These estimates are based on industry standards and are reviewed by contractors before being presented as official quotes. AI-generated estimates are not binding and may be adjusted.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers — Supabase (database), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), Stripe (payments), Google Maps (mapping) — solely to provide our services
- Contractors and clients — information shared as necessary to facilitate quotes, contracts, and job management
- Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect our rights
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@ekewakagenie.com.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS encryption in transit, single active session enforcement, Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, and role-based access controls. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available for all accounts. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy
Ekewaka GENIE is a professional business platform intended solely for use by adults operating field service businesses and their adult crew members.
